The Castle Fragsburg is the perfect place to relax in the Dolomites and is known for its world class spa. While we were there I was lucky enough to get the chance to enjoy a flower bath overlooking the Merano valley. The spa was even the winner of the World Luxury Spa Awards for 2017 and it totally lives up to all its accolades. The spa staff was so kind and made the whole experience so relaxing. I had just found out that I was pregnant (!!!) right before we stayed at the Castle Fragsburg. Once we arrived I was feeling totally out of it. I also felt so, so, so tired and just kinda sick. The flower bath came at seriously the very perfect time. I loved just soaking amidst those flowers and getting the chance to sit back and allow myself to take everything in. It was really a moment I will never forget. I will always remember this sweet place as the place where we realized that our lives were about to forever change by the gift of this new little baby. Looking back at these photos, I keep thinking about how amazing it would be to get the chance to give birth to this little baby in a tub filled with pink flowers! It would definitely not be sanitary but pretty beautifully full circle. If you ever get the chance to visit the Castle Fragsburg, make sure to check out their spa and if you are a spa person then schedule some spa services. The property also had a wonderful heated outdoor pool where Matt swam before it started raining.
