This past weekend was literally chock full of activities. We were literally running from one fun activity to the next. Matt and I went and saw his all-time favorite musical, The Sound of Music on Friday night. It was really beautiful and fun for me to see Matt’s undying love for the Von Trapp family. The weather was also picture perfect and super warm which tends to never happen in Chicago. Often the most beautiful days are days when I am working! There is literally nothing like Chicago in the summer. Nothing compares. My Chicago pride runs so deep guys. We ended up watching the NBA Championship a little Sunday night and I tell you I could seriously relate to LeBraun James on his face weeping about winning a championship for his hometown, because God only knows if I ever won anything for Chicago I would be running through the streets with the Chicago flag.
In other news this shirt is pink and ruffly and amazing for warm summer nights. I got it from Banana Republic many moons ago, but I really love this option, then this option, and this. I am literally obsessed with this GORGEOUS top.
