Positano was Matt’s favorite part of the Amalfi coast. We took a ferry out to Positano from Amalfi to have dinner there one night and then loved it so much that we came back to spend a full day there. Positano is such a beautiful little town, filled with great restaurants and people watching. It is also the home of the famous hotel- Le Sirenuse. I read about Le Sirenuse for months before our trip and knew that although we could not afford to stay there, that we would need to have dinner or at least a drink there. Matt and I got drinks at the Champagne and Oyster Bar and Grill and it was almost better than having dinner at the main restaurant! The Champagne and Oyster bar and grill was filled with the best energy. It was much more happening than the fancy restaurant and had a wonderful open air view of Positano. The restaurant at Le Sirenuse is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in the world, so you definitely need to check it out if you are a foodie. However, while food is amazing and all, I am all about design. The design of the Le Sirenuse is unlike anything you have ever seen. Old, Italian, decadent glamour. You walk into Le Sirenuse and are instantly overcome by the gorgeous red walls, the abundance of yellow and blue Italian tile and the trees dripping with lemons around every corner. Italians know how to do glamour and they do it so, so, so well. If you have a billion dollars, you must stay there and possible stay there forever if you can!

^^ One day we took a private boat trip along the coast and of course asked to go to Positano. We ended up spending most of the day there!
