This weekend we saw Dolly Parton and it was everything I wanted it to be and more! I was so overwhelmed with joy I seriously surprised myself. We packed a picnic and took the train out to Ravina Park and it was the most packed I have ever seen it. The whole concert was totally sold out and there was literally no open green space. You guys she is 73 years-old and is still SO good. She had so much energy and was such a joy to watch. Also her voice was still SO good. I was kind of expecting that her voice would not be as good as it sounds on her recordings just because she is much older and it sounded perfect! The whole night was amazing. I could not get over it. I would go and see her every single year if I could. She was so sweet and funny throughout the entire night and just had the most perfect self-deprecating humor. I love how she does not take herself so seriously and is just a hoot.

Is this not the most genius shirt you have ever seen?! I literally died when I saw it because it could not be perfect and literally encompasses all of my feelings. My stress level sky rockets during the election season because I hate the conflict that it inevitably brings. Everyone gets their feelings hurt and everyone just gets so vocal about their opinions. It totally stresses me out and I just hate it. But THIS shirt I can totally get behind and will be wearing through November 🙂
