Because I grew up in Hinsdale, it has such a special place in my heart. I always love getting the chance to go back and spend time in the suburbs. Anyone who has grown up in Hinsdale knows and loves the space where the old Hinsdale theater used to stand. Levato Salon & Skin Lab just opened in this space, 29 East 1st Street, and it could not be more beautiful. The whole salon is filled with so much beautiful light and is perfectly decorated. Levato Salon & Skin Lab offers state of the art skin treatments as well as a full service hair salon with the best stylists for coloring, cuts and styling. I got my hair blow dried there this past Saturday by Matthew who was just the sweetest and did such a good job giving me the perfect bombshell waves that I wanted! It was seriously one of the best blow outs I have ever gotten. He also told me about a new sort of waxing that they offer at Levato called “sugaring” that is supposed to be much better for your skin and much less painful than ordinary waxing. Levato also does spray tans and can do all those fun fancy braids for your next special occasion. The environment and whole vibe of the place was modern, chic, and just perfectly on point.
