While we were staying in Palm Springs we drove about an hour and half to Joshua Tree National Park. We spent the day driving through Joshua Tree, getting out every now and then to do some relatively tame hikes through the gorgeous desert landscapes. Matt and I love hiking so we love any chance to get out in nature and just explore. Joshua Tree was so much more beautiful than I ever expected it to be. I would definitely go back and am so glad that we made the day trip there. I am also dying to see a sunset in Joshua Tree, because oh my gosh I just bet sunsets there are just the most epic thing ever.
We also had so much fun doing a self guided door tour of Palm Springs! Of course we stopped by the famous Pink Door! My instagram loving heart would not miss it. We followed this illustrated map for our own guided door tour. I also love this illustration for some other not to miss spots!

^^ We stayed at the Alcazar for our final night in Palm Springs. It was a really great affordable spot that I would definitely recommend.
