Something about big, gorgeous flowers just fills my heart with total delight. My favorite places in the entire world are always lush gardens filled with blossoming flowers. Palm Springs was overflowing with some of the brightest, lushest flowers that I have ever seen. Around every corner there was another Bougainvillea bush just dripping with bright pink flowers.The abundance of densely packed flower bushes blew my mind. The flowers were so beautiful, their beauty felt almost opulent. I would return to Palm Springs forever just to have my heart thrilled by those gorgeous bougainvillea bushes. Matt and I spent a good amount of our time just trying to figure out how to pronounce the word “bougainvillea”! It’s one of those words that I can always picture and know how to spell but have no clue how to pronounce. So please do not ever ask me to pronounce that wonderful word!
The beauty of these flowers always makes me so emotional. It is amazing to think about how God created such a luscious beauty for us to enjoy. I love seeing how perfectly and effortlessly these flowers grow. Nothing manufactured, nothing man made. Just perfectly grown from nature. It’s really incredible.
