Scooting around Tuscany

In one of our final days in Florence, Matt and I decided to rent a scooter and explore some of the rolling hills right outside of the city. We had such a fun day and we so wished that we had done this sooner because we would have probably done it a couple more times! Florence is surrounded by some of the most beautiful Tuscan countryside you could ever imagine. Every day I would do my daily run through the hills surrounding Florence and soak in the beauty of the scenery surrounding me. I will never ever forget those runs. There is nothing more magical than Tuscany. I fell in love with the dry dirt land that is just overflowing with vineyards and olive groves. The beauty of Tuscany is by far my favorite type of beauty. It is just so romantic and filled with love and life. If you are going to be in Florence for an extended period of time you must rent a scooter from New Tuscany Scooter Rental and explore the surrounding vineyards.  The guys at New Tuscany Scooter Rental were so nice and so helpful. They gave us a nice little map of the surrounding area and helped point us in the right direction. They directed us towards some of the quiet backroads so that we could avoid busy highways and see some of the vineyards surrounding Florence.   We had such a good experience renting a scooter from this company and I would highly recommend using them to rent a scooter, motorcycle or even just bikes to ride around the city! Just be aware though that driving a scooter in Florence is no joke so you should only do this if you have had some prior experience driving a Vespa or a motorcycle. Driving in the city can be totally insane and this is not the place to learn how to drive a Vespa. 🙂

^^ At San Miniato al Monte, right around the corner from the Piazza Michelangelo. Beautiful view looking down on Florence.

^^ Favorite husband ever 🙂
