Everyday winter

I grew up spending a week of my summer each year in Cape Cod. It was so much fun to get the chance to go back during the winter months and see it in a totally new light. I am always in love with all of the Cape Cod homes. There is nothing better than those gorgeous grey and white houses!  The east coast weather covers them with pink and blue hydrangea in the summer and bright red berries in the winter. We got the chance to do a lot of walking while out on the east coast, and I was so glad that I had brought my cold weather gear. Dressing for the winter months requires lots of layers! I love this Chambray shirt with pleather leggings and my favorite over the knee flat boots. These flat over the knee boots really go with everything. Also can we talk about my new favorite, not so basic, layer- this fluffy Free People coat?! It is so much and I just love it. Plus it is super warm and an instant outfit maker.

In other news, my husband is such a talented photographer and has started doing some side work as a photographer if you are in the market. I may be biased but he is as good as they come. 🙂 He took the most amazing family portrait session that you would just die over! Taking pictures of little boys is not easy and these pictures are gold!
