Favorite things- sushi, birthdays and off the shoulder tops

This week was Matt’s birthday week! We went to our FAVORITE sushi place of all time- Kai Zan and had the most amazing Green Monster roll. Truly, there is nothing more amazing than that roll. The sushi is rolled with avocado which makes the taste so much more intense. There is nothing worse than bad sushi rolled with tons of rice. I hate when they use too much rice! Kai Zan is really small and you have to make a reservation a couple of weeks ahead of time to get in. For Matt’s birthday we got a really amazing new camera which we we got the chance to play around with for these pictures! You can definitely tell the difference. I had an old DSLR camera that I had gotten from my dad almost 10 years ago that we had been using with a new 50 mm lens. However, I had dropped the camera so many different times that the pictures were not as clear. Dropping a camera is no good- it screws up the mechanics inside the machine and makes the pictures much less clear. The new camera is so clear and capture light so perfectly. I can not wait to learn even more about it and get better and better pictures!

The other day I read this verse and loved the reminder that God can do amazing things in our lives outside of the parameters of time. He is beyond time and if He wants something to happen for you, time is not an obstacle. I love that reminder 🙂
