A couple weekends ago Matt and I flew out to Spokane, Washington to celebrate his grandma’s 90th birthday. It was so much fun to get to see her and lots of his extended family. Spokane is one of the most beautiful little towns I have ever seen and has the most gorgeous river area and greenery. The next day we drove about 4 and half hours from Spokane to Seattle and stayed at the Hotel Sorrento just for the night. The Hotel Sorrento was this cute little hotel just a few blocks away from Pike Place Market. It was so pretty- I would definitely suggest it if you are ever in Seattle. I hadn’t been to Seattle in probably 10 years so it was so fun to get the chance to explore the city. We got drinks at Canon- one of the most beautiful bars that had come highly recommended and was definitely worth all the hype. The flowers at the Pike Place Market were above and beyond beautiful. I had never seen such an abundance of gorgeous peonies! The prices were so reasonable too, around $10 for the most beautiful bouquet I had ever seen which would be like $40 in Chicago! If I lived in Seattle I would constantly buy tons and tons of flowers!
