The Enchantment Resort is right next to the Boynton Canyon Vortex. Matt and I hiked the Boynton Canyon Vortex which was so much fun. I definitely got some funny stares as I was the only person hiking the trail in a dress! #diva. The hike was not very strenuous and was the perfect incline with the most gorgeous views of Sedona. It was overall one of the most enjoyable experiences of our trip and something that I would highly suggest for anyone traveling to Sedona. If you follow me on Instagram, I posted a picture of Matt high atop of a beautiful red rock- a picture I took during this hike. Interestingly enough, Sedona is known for being one of the “new age” mecas of the US. It is famous for its vortexes which people believe help fill you with energy and are essentially magic. Matt and I watched a short little youtube documentary about Sedona where a woman named “Starlight,” no last name, was the chief expert on Sedona. Her name was Starlight you guys…. that’s really all I need to say about that! :/ We certainly do not believe in vortexes, energies, crystals or any of that new age stuff but we did love the hike!
