You guys- we were literally in Sedona for just 3 days and we had so many different memorable experiences that it felt like we were there for a week! Sometimes 3 days is all you really need to feel like you got away and got the chance to recharge.
When it comes to traveling, I am the person that always wants to arrive at the airport 3 hours before the flight and Matt is the person who wants to arrive at the airport 30 minutes before the flight takes off. I do not have anxiety about many things but for some reason being late and missing a flight when it is in my control is one of those things that really gets my heart beating. My mind literally starts thinking about how we could miss our flight and we would have to catch a later one and then miss a whole day of vacation. Or if we are coming home I start panicking about missing a day of work. On one of the first flights that Matt and I took together, we saw this whole scenario play itself out. I was super nervous about getting to the airport in time for a flight to Nashville, while Matt was just slowly moving along completely oblivious to my inner panic. I had tried to hide my anxiety but it clearly started pouring out and Matt did not know me well enough at the time to know what the trigger was. We both have had to give and grow closer from either side of our extremes in this area. I have to coach myself about how I do not need to be at the airport 3 hours before every flight and Matt has met me halfway so that we are not running onto the plane. It’s the best of both worlds 🙂
I ordered this dress from ASOS and it fit perfectly (size 2) when I tried it on. When you order something online, you never know whether it is going fit! Lottery! Happy dance! It was the perfect outfit for Arizona with all the desert colors and burnt orange walls. I absolutely love it – perfect for day and perfect for night. I wore it hiking (literally probably the only girl to wear a dress hiking) and then out at dinner.
I noticed that recently some of the sizes in this dress are unavailable, but ASOS periodically restocks their merchandise so if your size is not currently available keep checking the website because it will more than likely be back in stock soon. 🙂
