ATX- Special Treasures

Over Labor Day weekend I traveled to Austin for the first time to visit one of my friends that had just moved there. My first time in Austin could not have been a better experience. Bri was such a wonderful host and took us around to all of the Austin hot spots. She really went out of her way to make sure that we got to see all of the fun, quirky charms that makes Austin so unique. If you are traveling to Austin for the weekend, I definitely suggest renting a car so that you can take advantage of all the city has to offer. Austin does have a centralized city location that you can easily walk around but getting to some of the quirky charms requires a little bit of a drive.

^^ Art walls like these are interspersed through out the city. All you have to do is drive a couple blocks and you randomly find a new fun wall. They make for really fun picture opportunities.

^^ LOVE this picture. Such a perfect depiction of these fun friends and their awesome personalities.

^^ Bri made sure to show this wall which was just off of South Congress. It was so fun to get to think about what we wanted to do before we died and read what other people had written down.

^^ Our favorite one was “Rush Pike” – hahah!

^^ I wrote down “swim with dolphins.”

^^ Jacqueline said that she wanted to “cruise in a RV in the West.”

^^ We got the chance to take a peak inside the Hotel San Jose. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and allow for privacy so that it feels like an oasis in the middle of Austin.

^^ Love these fun faces and friends. More pictures from Austin will be coming soon.
