ATX- Some Iphone Shots

Ever since we got back from Austin I have been missing the quality time spent with my girlfriends. Traveling with friends, or just anyone in general, is such a great bonding experience and allows your relationship to really grow in ways that it would not under normal every day circumstances. It gives you all just the perfect chance to relax and have conversations about silly things that come after you have talked about everything else that is going on in each other’s lives. Being allowed into someone else’s life, allowed to be a part of their everyday routines, and allowed into their home and heart grows friendships and intimacy between friends in such a special way. Since the past couple of years have been so busy, I really want to take time to travel more this year. If you have any suggestions  of your favorite places, please let me know!

^^ The other side of Barton Springs.

^^ Contigo, they had the best Okra!

^^ Some snap shots of the Austin night life. It was so interesting how all the bars were placed in old houses.

^^ Bri had the most beautiful apartment and really did an amazing job decorating with relics from her world travels.

^^ There are amazing food trucks all over Austin. We had fried pickles and avocado. Yumm.

^^ Sneaking onto some beautiful hotel grounds. More pictures to come….

^^ Everyone we talked to recommended going to Justine’s. It was a little out of the way but the food was amazing and the atmosphere definitely made the trip worth it. Plus the grounds were decorated with these crazy, random structures!

^^ The Bar at Justine’s, definitely a romantic date stop … that we just happened to go to on a girl’s trip! haha.

^^ Bri took us to a park for lunch after church on Sunday which had the most amazing grounds.

^^ Drinks at Lucille’s.

Last February and friend and I went to San Antonio and stayed on the river walk. This New Years family and I are headed to Idaho Speings CO and Telluride, CO. We have been to CO to ski at least 5 times and go to the same ski area as they know Julie there and now she helps in daycare instead of needing it. This will be our first ski trip to Telluride and Sam and Sami will be with Julie while we ski one day and vice versa. Merry Christmas, Mary ❤️❤️❤️
